Fanciful Treasures, as the name reveals, is indeed a fanciful place with some real treasures that you might want to own. Let’s take a look at what our founders Sandra and David are up to.
Where It All Began
The thought of starting Fanciful Treasures didn’t occur overnight. David and Sandra didn’t share this aspect of their partnership until health issues forced Sandra to retire, and boredom forced her to look for ways to fill hours that had always been just too busy for hobbies.
While waiting to take a stained glass class, which she thought would be a possible answer for her boredom, she first found fused glass and then wire wrap. She never did get to working on stained glass, but in trying to do that, she got interested in jewelry making involving gemstones.
Fanciful Treasures is an expression of a partnership that has gone extraordinarily well for over forty years.
